Governor General Julie Payette will undertake a state visit to Burkina Faso from October 23-26, stopping in Ouagadougou and Koubri. She will meet with the President Roch Marc Christian Kaboré and will take part in various events and activities showcasing Canada-Burkina Faso relations in the areas of education; innovation; cooperation; and gender equality.
