With the success of the first year of the Learn To Camp Initiative, this year Parks Canada will add the launch of the new mobile application encouraging Canadians to experience camping. The event will be held at Fort Camping, Brae Island Regional Park, 9451 Glover Road. Call 604-250-1490. 

To commemorate Parks Canada's centennial, Conservative MP Mark Warawa (Langley, BC) will participate in the "Learn to Camp" event. The "Learn to Camp" initiative is geared toward allowing citizens to experience an overnight camping trip while being supervised by Parks Canada experts.
