Governor General to visit Italy

Governor General Julie Payette will visit Italy from Nov. 29-Dec. 4. She will meet with Italian President Sergio Mattarella, participate in commemorative events marking the 75th anniversary of the Italian Campaign in Pontecorvo and Ortona, and visit the Cassino War Cemetery, the Moro River Canadian War Cemetery, the Ravenna War Cemetery, and the Villanova Canadian War Cemetery. Minister McKenna to visit Italy

Environment and Climate Change Minister Catherine McKenna (Ottawa-Centre, Ont.) will participate in the G7 Environment Ministers’ Meeting in Bologna, Italy, from June 11-12. McKenna will engage in bilateral meetings with other G7 environment ministers, and key academic and business leaders.
