Prairie Scene features 500 artists from Canada’s prairies. Artists, actors, singers and dancers will participate in 80 events over 13 days. This showcase is presented by the National Arts Centre. The shows will take place at the NAC, 53 Elgin Street. More details are available online.

The Life and Times of Darcy McGee

3 Billion and Counting – Screening

The Free Thinking Film Society will present 3 Billion and Counting. The film takes an in-depth look at the killer disease of malaria and the shortsightedness of governmental and environmental policies in relation to it.
