Bank of Canada to announce the overnight rate

Following the Bank of Canada’s decision on the target for the overnight rate at 9:45 a.m., and also the release its Monetary Policy Report, Governor Tiff Macklem and Senior Deputy Governor Carolyn Rogers will hold a press conference. The Group of 78 hosts its 2023 Annual Policy Conference from Sept. 26-29 in Ottawa and online. The House of Commons will resume sitting today. It will sit for three weeks (Sept. 18-Oct. 6), and will adjourn on Friday, Oct. 6, for a week. 

Rodriguez to hold a press conference on the Online News Act
