The Standing Senate Committee on Social Affairs, Science and Technology presented its fourth report, Bill C-210, An Act to amend the Canada Revenue Agency Act (organ and tissue donors), without amendment).

The Standing Senate Committee on Human Rights presented its third report, Forced and Coerced Sterilization of Persons in Canada.

The Senate resolved itself into a Committee of the Whole to consider Bill C-5, An Act to amend the Bills of Exchange Act, the Interpretation Act and the Canada Labour Code (National Day for Truth and Reconciliation). Canadian Heritage Minister Steven Guilbeault (Laurier-Sainte-Marie, Que.) appeared.

Bill C-204, An Act to amend the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999 (final disposal of plastic waste), was introduced and read a first time.

Bill C-237, An Act to establish a national framework for diabetes, was introduced and read a first time.
