Statistics Canada released a report on provincial and territorial economic accounts for 2009. Real gross domestic product (GDP) fell in every province and territory in 2009, except Manitoba and Yukon. Statistics Canada released a new study on high school drop out rates. In 1990/1991, nearly 340,000 or 16.6% of young people aged 20 to 24 had not completed a high school diploma and were not attending school.
