Chief Justice of Canada Beverley McLachlin announced that Justice Marshall Rothstein has written to Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada Peter MacKay (Central Nova, N.S.) to advise that he will retire from the Supreme Court of Canada following the end of the spring session of the Court.
